Public Program: Bird Flu -- What You Should Know

There is a lot of misinformation circulating on the topic of avian flu and the threat that it potentially represents. Get the facts straight from an expert. Cristina Pasa of Chatham County Health Department will be the speaker. There will be time for questions from the audience. This event id free and open to the public. Field Trip to Skidaway Island
Saturday, June 24, 8:00AM to Noon
Meet at 8 AM in the parking lot opposite the Village gas station on Skidaway Island. Skidaway offers a good opportunity to view a variety of the low country's breeding birds. The trip will visit Priest's Landing, the Midpoint Rookery at The Landings, and other Skidaway birding hot spots. Free and open to the public.
