Our country, including coastal Georgia, continues to
experience a multitude of
significant problems relating to our environment. Clean air,
clean energy, clean water, our forests, beaches, and wildlife
protection are just a few of the environmental concerns that
face us today.
Fortunately, many environmentalists are committed to making a
dedicated effort to stop pollution, cleanse our air and water,
and simply make our communities a safer and better place to live
and play.
Members of the "Coastal Georgia Environmental
Partners" (CGEP)
represent a broad and diverse group of organizations, clubs, and
associations whose missions reflect the dedication of hundreds
of caring people working for a better environment. This
website's objective is to bring these diverse groups together,
as Partners, in a network of communication and understanding.
